Qatar Chamber (QC) board of directors has issued a unanimous decision to appoint Saleh Hamad al-Sharqi as the new director-general of the organisation. Al-Sharqi has been QC acting general manager since June 2015. He also used to be the QC director of financial and administrative affairs department and deputy general manager. QC board of directors considered Al-Sharqi as one of the young, promising Qatari professionals, who have displayed great potential for effective leadership and administration due to his wide experience in the field. He has also headed a number of QC committees on various issues and represented the organisation at various GCC and international events.
